Wisconsin DeMolay’s 2020 Honorees!

Each year Wisconsin DeMolay honors those in our organization who have excelled in many different areas of leadership.  We want to recognize our advisors and youth alike for their hard work and dedicated to growing Wisconsin DeMolay and helping provide a strong leadership for the years to come.

DeMolay International provides two distinct honors for DeMolay Adults/Advisors and one for youth (and Senior DeMolays) that we at Wisconsin DeMolay focus on each year at our annual Honor’s Day.  Wisconsin DeMolay hopes that you all will be able to join us at our annual Honor’s Day, currently set for October 3, 2020 at Tripoli Shrine. More information to come!

The Degree of Chevalier

The Degree of Chevalier is the highest honor any active DeMolay can receive.  These young men have shown dedicated leadership within and without their own chapter room.  Their advisory council believes that they are the culmination of what DeMolay has to offer.  Wisconsin DeMolay believes that those who have been nominated and received to the degree of chevalier are truly exemplary DeMolays. This honor is also able to be bestowed upon those Senior DeMolay’s who have returned to our organization as leaders and advisors for the young men of the future. Please join us in congratulating the following Degree of Chevalier recipients.

Legion of Honor

The Legion of Honor is the highest honor conferred by DeMolay International. DeMolay International may confer the DeMolay Legion of Honor upon a Senior DeMolay, who has attained the age of twenty-five years for outstanding leadership in some field of endeavor, or for success in fraternal life, including adult service to the Order. No one may apply for this distinction, and a nominee, or the membership of a Chapter, must have no knowledge of the recommendation by the Advisory Council. Failure to observe secrecy in making this nomination subjects the nominee to penalty of not being considered.

Cross of Honor

An Advisor who wears the Cross of Honor has received a distinctive honor that can only be given by DeMolay International to a member of an Advisory Council or a personal representative of an Executive Officer. DeMolay International may confer the DeMolay Cross of Honor upon a present or past member of an Advisory Council or upon any personal representative of any Executive Officer who has served at least three years in either or both capacities and whose service has been conspicuously meritorious.
